Very accommodating of my same day needs when i moved, they were able to help me get into a truck last minute staff were friendly and knew what they were doing... why take away the 17 trucks though??? Lol
Let me start by saying they don't deserve this star. If I could give negative stars I would. I reserved a truck for a move more than a week in advance. 22 hours before my pick up time I received a confirmation that had a different pick up location and an hour later pick up time. I called to verify this. They said yes. Inconvenient, but not terrible as I had alotted myself extra time.An hour later I got a phone call from them telling me they had no trucks until 5pm, 8 hours after my initial scheduled time and right in the middle of when my move in to my new place was scheduled. I asked if they had any other sized trucks that might be available sooner, they said maybe 430. She showed zero empathy for basically screwing me over as it is the day before the first of the month and a long weekend. Had I not been riding the bus at the time of the phone call I would have flipped out on her but I did not want to cause a scene. So now I'm stuck on a Friday afternoon of an upcoming long weekend trying find a moving truck for the next day. I will never use or recommend U-haul and will actively campaign against anyone I know using them in the future.
Good for more than just straight moving experiences. I have used them for the purchase of plastic wrap in dealing with bed bugs. Covering some furniture and getting it out. Staff was helpful
Hate this company. I reserved a truck for pick up in Winnipeg but was told the day of pick up that I have to drive to Lac du Bonnet, which is over an hour away. This company is completely UNRELIABLE.
