This establishment has the best REUBEN SANDWICH in the city! I have gone to other restaurants in Winnipeg and their Reubens are not as great than compared to White Star! And as well very authentic milkshakes! My only disappointment is, how come I had never known about this Winnipeg gem???? I lived here all my life and never had dined at this place! In the end, I was very impressed and I left with a full stomach! And as well, the poutine was excellent! I had found my regular place!!!! Thanks!!!!!
Super delicious grilled cheese sandwiches, perfect fries, and dangerously good milkshakes. Rueben poutine is very good as well. Prices are very reasonable. Service is quick and friendly. No complaints at all about this place, will come back again and again.
This was the best burger and fries I've had in a long time. I don't know what made the bun, the patty, and the potatoes so good, but whatever they did, it worked. The server was friendly, and the food came very quickly. The diner's White Star ocean liner theme is also a lot of fun. This is a hidden gem that should be featured on that Diners, Drive-ins and Dives show.
I've been here a few times, and I have yet to be disappointed in any way. They've got a classic diner feel, and their food is So good. Their burgers are delicious and their shakes are amazing: they have a ton of flavours, and every one I've tried so far has been amazing, even though they sounded a little weird. Overall, it's a smaller place, but so worth visiting.
Great staff, great service and great food. A must to visit. Try the onion burger, very delicious and filling. Also there is a variety of shakes which are amazing. There is something for everyone including vegetarians.
