Great place to buy products however the quality is not as it used to be. If you need tools for light jobs, its the right place for you. I'd recommend to do your research diligently before buying anything anywhere. Otherwise helpful staff.
I have kind of interesting experience in this store. I went to buy one item in this store. The Canadian tire app showed that it is on sale in Grand park Canadian tire. It was half price sale there. When i went to checkout here they told me, it is not on sale here. They own by a different franchise owner. However they price matched with another store.
My least favorite CT in the city. Some staff (not all) don't seem too friendly or knowledgeable. Sometimes someone here tells me something, then I ask someone else that contradicts the first guy. I know I've definitely been lied to a few times. Shelves don't seem to be regularly stocked. I usually check CT online for product availability, then come in to buy and it's not stocked, then I ask someone and they say that can't find it. I'll never comeback to get my car serviced here again. A number of years ago, I ordered tires and install service. I was told it would arrive after a certain date. I waited passed the expected date and no one called. When I called them, they told me the tires had already arrived and I could bring my vehicle in. They gave no apology. So I brought my car in and they replaced the tires. I waited about 3 hours to get it done. After getting tired of waiting I noticed my car was outside. I asked someone (not the guy with his feet on the table playing with his cell phone or the others too busy chatting) if my car was done. I was told it was done. So... they forgot about me... I guess treating customers like this is acceptable here.
Had a bad experience trying to repair a tire a few weeks ago. I took it off the vehicle myself, brought it in while it was still hissing. I called in the next day, they said it can't be repaired because it was 'run flat' . I informed them that I took it off the car before it was 'run flat'. He apologized and said he meant the car was a run flat tire, not that it was 'run flat'. I informed them that it isn't a run flat tire, and that this model tire is not even available in a run flat version. They proceeded to tell me that per their shop policy, they do not repair run flat tires. I reiterated that the tire isn't a run flat, they did not believe me. I took it to Kal tire, they happily repaired my non run flat tire.
Good store with a decent selection and reasonable prices. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I'm not against it if you're busy then with the whole thing. So many things that needed to be done with the project, but it's well worth it. Would definitely go again!
