Kitchen faucet leaking because worn out. Called and got a near immediate appointment (not an emergency). Faucet replaced and shutoff valves added ... they didn't have those in the 1960s. Job completed within 2 and a half hours of me phoning.Impressed with speed and zero defect work, I got him to estimate some future potential work.
This past week my daughters basement had a major plumbing leak that we couldnt contain. We started calling emergency plumbers that offered 24 hour service and this started at 11pm, needless to say we were surprised that the first 5 companies we tried didnt want to come out until the next day based on the time. You could imagine the sense of helplessness my daughter was feeling as her basement was flooding and we were trying to mop up buckets of water to prevent further damage. Giving this one last shot I called the Pleasant Plumber at exactly midnight and Barry answered the phone and stated he could be at her place within 30 minutes. Well 30 minutes later he was here at went to work. Unfortunately we realized the situation was much more serious as the city of Winnipeg had been doing work out front of the house earlier in the week that caused the damage. What I will say is Barry gave it his best for 2 hours and left at 2:30am. As a customer I am more than impressed with the service and effort he put in.Barry and his team returned the next morning to come and see if there was anything else they could do and we were blown away by their service and effort! I would highly recommend the Pleasant Plumber to anyone in need of Plumbing Services and these guys are now first on my list to call for my home and my stores as I run a small business as well! Great service guys and thanks again!
Excellent service Barry!! Our sump pump died at 10:30pm. I called all over the city and couldn't get anyone until the next day. I called "The pleasant Plumber" where they also had no one to come out. Five minutes later my phone rings and Barry calls back saying it's his evening off, but he would come and help. He arrived quickly and installed a new sump pump!! If it wasn't for him coming out our basement would have flooded!! We were getting tired trying to bail the water out!!Thank you Barry for saving our basement on your birthday!! That's what I call dedication!!!

I called for service on a Monday and was able to get an appointment by the next day in the afternoon (the situation was not an emergency). Barrett attended; he was friendly, knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions that my husband and I had about the job. He did a thorough job, was open about the cost of the service upfront and was able to process payment in a convenient way. After the job was done, he explained what he did and provided information in person and by e-mail on how to operate the fix he implemented. He welcomed any questions going forward He was patient, kind, and not rushed; an overall great experience. Would highly recommend!
