The only reason I shop here is because I live SO close to it. What I dont like about it is that it puts out dated food on sale. I had three dinners ruined and had to quickly change course which included wine pairings because I opened the package to a rot smelling product. And dont get me started on the seafood section. They do however return my money graciously. Getting tired of this store and Co-Op Store is outrageously expensive as an alternative in the area.
We shop here regularly, mostly for items we can't get at our main supermarket. Prices are not that great for most items, unfortunately, so we don't normally get staples here unless we need them in a hurry. Good selection of hot sauces (which changes from time to time), and they started carrying Pic-a-Pop a while back. Staff are generally helpful.
If you like food, be it fruit, vegetable, or a big 'ol slab of salmon, this is the place to go. Maybe you want some fancy cheese, or maybe you need some cat litter so that you feline friend doesn't relieve itself on your pillow. Sobeys gots you covered. I always enjoy my shop there. Nothing but good times.
We came here for just a few groceries on our way to Grand beat. It is a very large clean and impressive place. But I find the prices at this sovies just as I do for other Sobeys are very very high. So it's good for picking up a few things here and there but I wouldn't want to do my weekly grocery shopping here simply because it is very expensive. This is especially the case in contrast to Superstore. Of course you get to shop in a really huge clean modern place. We didn't receive any help from any employees so I can't comment on customer service.
Great selection of fruits and vegetables. Prices seem a bit high sometimes. Great customer service.
