Friendly staff, rooms are comfortable and accommodating. Love that there is a bar and restaurant right at this facility. However the pool area could definitely use some work. Disappointed there was no working sauna , the gym is one elliptical and the pool areas are really run down.
The room smelled funny (I think it was just foul-smelling cleaning products), all information in the room was old (the TV channels which were supposed to be available weren't, the guest book gave outdated information). The only good thing about the place was that there was a pool. But no towels (guest book strikes again, saying to use towels provided in pool area with none around). The front desk wasn't helpful and seemed annoyed when we pointed out the discrepancies between what was offered and what we actually received. On the plus side, the attached restaurant had nice servers and good food.
Beds are amazing, soft and supportive. Pool is nice and shower is good. Location is convenient but run down and a bit sketchy.
I've been staying at Wyndham properties recently, and this was by far the least maintained of those I've seen. There was a full trolley filled with refuse stored under the staircase by the side door, completely visible to guests. Generally a strange smell and a run down feel to the place.
Needs an update for sure. Overall it was decent. Nothing spectacular and nothing terrible. Currently road construction going on in front of the building and makes it a bit confusing to start with. Parking space in front is a bit congested, the stalls seem a bit narrow or at least that's how people were parking. Had to squeeze in and out of my car a couple times cause the cars next to me were over the line. Construction has nothing to do with my rating. Tiles at the top of the spiral stairs in pool area are lifting and all down the hallway look stained and could use a good scrubbing. Wood grain furniture make the hotel look really dated along with the teal coloured roof on the outside. If I was driving by the place I wouldn't pick it to stay. Staff were fairly nice and hotel seemed clean otherwise. There are better hotels and much worse hotels to stay at.
