Worst hospital took my 10 year old in as he was having lots of pain in his leg and his toe was really red and very sore. We got in to see a Dr really fast and he looked at my son's leg and foot and all he said was keep doing what ur doing and keep poping him with pills and follow up with his dr and he said I don't need to do any test as it will be a waste. He never even said what was wrong with him or anything. Who says that to a 10 year old kid. Never going back ever again!
Pretty slow for a empty wait room. Took over 5 hours to see a doctor for a strep throat diagnosis. And the whole time there i watched every nurse there stand around and twiddle their thumbs. Doctor was very nice though. in the end excellent care was provided. Except 2 family members were both misdiagnosed or sent home when they had legitimate health problems similar to what happened with the man in the CTV news story about him being sent home with a serious stomach problem.
Worst patient care ever. Period. The staff were busy chatting and checking their phones instead of caring for patients, they rolled their eyes and acted as if any interruption by the patients was a huge inconvenience to them, and the wait times are ridiculous. If you can avoid it, NEVER come to this emergency care centre.
Worst experience I ever had .Some were very rude especially the one with dark glasses balding in front emergency area.She should be fired not professional at all.Had two cracked bones in leg and said I could walk and leave .They called cab not even able to walk that place is a shame.Now I am in good hands at the Health Science there great nurses, staff ,& Doctor's.And I cant believe the ambulance personal that was abusive toward me saying that I could walk forcing me too get on a chair writing false report on top of that.The outcome of all this was surgery on my wrist and leg it will take me six or more months too learn how too walk again this place physically and emotionally damage me.Never been treated so badly in my life.And the doctor that didnt xray me right and telling me I could put presure and walk out.So my advice is you want good Health care Health Science doctors nursing staff took really good care of me and surgeons I wouldnt step a foot in seven oaks or ambulance again people need too get together enough is enough.I left pictures of surgery the result of all this from ambulance attendant Nurse and Doctor really need be reviewed in the system that should not be this field of work.
Was a day surgery patient at Seven Oaks Hospital. It was a great experience right from the time my husband and I stepped through the door and was looking at the information map and an elderly gentleman politely asked if he could help us find our way. He gave us directions to the day surgery clerk who was also very polite. We were then directed to a waiting room where we sat for no longer than 10 minutes before a nurse asked me to follow her to the day surgery area. After putting on my surgery gown I was asked to get comfy in a reclining chair with a heated blanket. The nurse who then looked after me was so wonderful! Full of energy, kind words and humour! During my wait for surgery my heated blanket was replaced two more times! The professionals in the surgery room were great! Dr Hubert was the surgeon and he explained the whole procedure as he performed his tasks and I watched on a monitor. The recovery room nurses were very nice and back at day surgery room after was again a great experience. Thank you all for making a possibly stressful day into a wonderful experience!
