What hospital has 1 doctor on CONCORDIA wow our government sucks . Dont know if they really follow the rules of who is next here but i dont recomend this place at all
The worst treatment I ever received was tonight. I brought my daughter there who needed stitches after being struck with a rock to the head. Not only did they make us wait 4 hours and she still wasnt cared for but when we went to leave they showed no care at all for her or her injury and just said ok bye! I was so upset, do not go here Concordia Hospital you would be doing Winnipeg a favor just to shut down completely, my daughter now has to sit at home the rest of the night with a open wound to her head until morning when I can get her to see a doctor...TERRIBLE HOSPITAL PEOPLE!!!
Do not allow your elderly parent to be brought to this hospital, especially if they have dementia. If you have to bring them here, stay with them 24/7 and keep a watchful eye. My mother was unfortunately brought to this hospital by ambulance in mid-February, 2018. The staff's lack of caring was evident throughout (they wanted to pull the plug on her from day one even though she showed marked improvement after a week) and my brother had to fight every day to have my Mom properly looked after. During her second week there, they were too busy and forgot to put her feeding tube in for 55 hours she was 91!!! Honest to God, who does that? In the end, they got what they wanted because my mother was so weak from not being fed. She died last night (March 2, 2018). Why even have a Hippocratic Oath? More like a Hypocritical Oath!
I went in on Thursday after cutting my had open and needing 8 stitches. They cared for me in less then 3 hours and gave me excellent medical care and put me at ease about the cut in my hand. The nurse practitioner was amazing and did excellent stitches.
I was admitted into the hospital for 2 nights. The emergency doctors and nurses went above and beyond. The nurses were excellent on the ward. It will be a sad day when the emergency is shut down 2019. I was very impressed from start to when I was discharged.
