I have been very skeptical about coming here considering I've been used to a CrossFit gym. After coming for 2 weeks, I've obviously had to make adjustments to the style of my training, but the facility overall is perfect! This place is really for anyone. Whether you're looking to loose weight or you're a high level body building competitor, this place has everything you need. Staff is very nice, and I've never seen such a clean place before. Change rooms feel very clean and are well maintained. They also have multiple stalls of showers with all the soaps you need, hair dryers and even an iron and ironing board!! Memberships even include group classes of various sorts and cycle classes as well. Definitely recommend this place.
Caution guys, never never never sign up for Personal Training Program at this location. They are super nice and responsible when u sign up. However when you wanna to cancel the program, they will tell you the blah blah blah manager is not available and will call you back ...They will never call you back, and keep deduct your money forever
I was a member of the Goodlife on Kenaston for 2 years. I also had 2 personal trainers there. Honestly the Kenaston location is run down. It seemed like there was always a broken machine or a tv that wasnt working. The massage chairs were always taken even by people just looking for a place to sit because the sitting area is so small. Also as a female Ive had an couple old man try to talk to me when I clearly had my headphones in not looking for conversation. Luckily one of the personal trainers was nice enough to talk to one of the worst offenders and tell him Im not interested in a nice way. But I started wearing my wedding rings to be left alone which I usually dont wear so I dont ruin them and that helped the situation. The guys there my actual age were respectful. Its just the old men. The Kenaston location is always packed. Parking is always full. You can see people having to park at the Tim Hortons often. The personal trainers I had, Both were awesome. No complaints there. So finally I paid $50 a month. However I switched to the Planet Fitness and now I pay $22 and get way more then I got for the $50 from the GoodLife on Kenaston. So happy I switched. Dont miss Goodlife at all.
Not currently a member but I used to be. They messed up my boyfriends banking account and discount he got through work (it was bad but I wont go into details) so they ended up letting him cancel with no cancellation fees. I then wanted to cancel mine (because we signed up together to workout together) and they told me I would have to buyout, when I explained to them my scenario and why I wanted to cancel they gladly waived my fee. I mean that was excellent customer service. I switched to shapes only because it was much closer to my house and do I ever regret it. Go and read my review I left on shapes for the whole story (it's messed up).I loved goodlife, it was just too far for me. Trust me folks they have good customer service.
Great place to get the best work out just a little bit pricy.
