Johnston terminal is always an interesting place to shop because they have one of the best antique shops in the basement as well as one of the best children's toy shops in the upstairs but what really impressed me was the store called Global Connections... What a great place! Always enjoy shopping at the forks and Johnston terminal shouldn't be missed if you're shopping there
Wonderful coffee shop, art gallerys unique stores Christmas, toys games and puzzles. A Local made bike shop one of the best. The Old Spaghetti Factory loved by locals. Your visit to the Forks would be incomplete without a stop at the Johnson Terminal.
Nice, however I preferred The Fort next door over what this Building offers. That being said, the lady at the Manitoba information center was a wealth of knowledge, spent an hour learning about the Province, so for this tourist, all the time spent in that area was rewarding.
Great area for visiting especially if you're a tourist. Awesome selection of mom and pop stores. There's a cool little antique shop in the basement.
The Forks are pretty much a tourist trap. High prices, crazy paid parking. Much better to visit old St.Boniface across the river. You park on a side street for free. Nice restaurants, cheese shop and you can see where the rivers meet just fine. Usually without the pan handlers, buskers and noise.
