went in and went right out. dead place, terrible music, small space. wish we had a chance to look at the place before we paid $10.00, what a waste of money and trip.
OK, so I walked in at about 12:30 am without checking the reviews. This club was teeming with 20 somethings, not a good place for us older folk. Its a small space with limited seating, a $10 cover charge, the music and dcor were acceptable and the floor was slick with beer, so be careful.
In Winnipeg from Florida for the first time, decided to give this spot a try on Saturday even after reading some of the negative reviews on here. Ill have to say majority of them are dead on, lets start with the positive to me. The staff wasnt a issue to me as some say they where cool and acted like any normal security or workers in a club only issue I had was with one of the female bartenders. I ordered a drink from one and was charged $4 but went to a different one second time around and was charged $6, so me thinking imo I was overcharged by second one next time I went to get drink noticed no one went to her thats bad business. Second I will have to say the DJs are garbage, I have no problem if the format for the club is they dont play too much rnb or hip hop because they feel they dont want to attract a certain element or so. But if you got 2 DJs and within the 2 1/2 hours Im there I hear some of the same songs being replayed that is pitiful out of all the music that is out here to be played especially since this spot wasnt specific on the type they was playing. Overall crowd was a good mixture but not worth the $10 cover charge and if this is the one of the bests spots Winnepeg has to offer if you looking to go there to for a trip with the fellas or even ladies if possible I recommend Vancouver or Toronto over this area way more options of clubs to choose from.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!! This place makes Winnipeg look worse with unfriendly attitude of bouncers and staff standing there as if you are entering the airport. The music is terrible with disgusting ambience and the club is filthy. There are plenty of underground parties in the city with friendly people and atmosphere (IFF, Footwerk, Pyramid Cabret etc.)
The club is a good place to go for an hour or two with friends... But as the night progresses, people just get trashy. The club itself is pretty cool with its decor and bartenders. The music is alright, but it depends on your taste. You have to go on your own, depending on who you are... You'll either love the place or hate it.
