We hosted an awesome fun friend and family event and got rave reviews from our guests about what a great venue the museum was. The staff were fantastic and all the services we arranged were amazing!!

A Constantly expanding Museum, delighting kids! The Museum, now located in "The Forks" area, was created by a small group of dedicated people in 1983, moved in to its first building in 1986. It has had several major expansions-- the most recent being in 2011, when, on the 25th anniversary, twelve more galleries and a welcome centre were added to the existing 5 galleries. The expansions/additions have allowed it to continuing to meet the evolving interests of "children of all ages". The "interactive exhibits" certainly contribute to expanding children's "curiosity and creative impulses". The "welcome centre" also includes a Museum Shop and lunch room.I hope that this Review has been helpful.

I brought my year and a half old son here and he had a blast. I had to pull him away from the water table he didn't want to leave; probably would play with it all day if you let him. Great place for children!

Charging per adult was pretty odd for a kid's play place. The parking lot isn't great and the way you pay for parking isn't immediately obvious. The admission to the kids museum includes parking, so you don't pay at the meters. The actual "museum" itself is actually a giant playground with castle building areas, crane operation places, crafting sections, a jungle gym, and all kinds of stuff. They obviously don't control the local parking, but the pricing for adults was still pretty strange. Had a lot of fun watching my kiddo play with stuff. Would recommend.

Not really a museum in the traditional sense of the word. It has a full-size Canadian Pacific locomotive that is fully accessible for kids. My eldest wanted to live there, I think. Lots and lots of interactive displays - kids can build their own skyscraper, and there is a neat logic gate puzzle on the making of milk. *Extremely* popular with school groups and daycares.
