Amazing customer service!

just a fantastic experience here

Excellent service! I highly recommend it. Will use again

TL;dr: service was fine first time around, but when it broke within three weeks, he was extremely rude and childish.I called this guy because he was the only one who could come cheaply on short notice. $100 to get a cylinder drilled out and replaced, which he did fairly quickly and seemingly well. He had to remove the door knob to replace the cylinder. He gave me the old cylinder. First red flag was that he didn't give a receipt or invoice (though I didn't remember to ask, he should have given one anyway).Three weeks later, while I'm at work, my mom tries closing the door, and the whole doorknob fell off. She calls me in a panic, telling me the lock fell out, and to call this guy for her. I gave him the date, address, and other specific details about the first job, though he didn't seem to remember, and reluctantly went to check it out.According to my mom, when he got there, he insisted that she move her car rather than just double parking. There weren't any other spots, so she would have had to double park too, which makes no sense. He was apparently rude from the start because my relayed description of the problem over the phone want technically accurate. He shoved the knob back on and said "See, it works"; but when he tried it, it fell off again. He apparently refused to fix it because the doorknob wasn't part of what he's repaired the first time around (to me, that's splitting hairs). He then called me to tell me this, and told me my mom had been rude. I initially apologized and asked what happened, but he said that he'd never fixed the lock or the knob on my door. I told him that was impossible, since I had the piece he gave me. He replied "yeah, I fixed the cylinder, not the lock"... Splitting hairs... He told me to call someone else next time I had a problem, and I said I absolutely would. He then started launching into a lecture, so I hung up

I have two experiences with Peter. The first time was about two years ago, my then one year old locked me out of the house. Peter came quickly and helped us get to him. Then went ahead and switched all of broken door handles with spares he had (they looked new!), he didnt bother to charges us for the best door handles and was so kind. We are very grateful! He completed a second visit today where he rekeying a lock and reinstalled our door frames. He went above and beyond. The only locksmith we would ever use. The best! Our doors actually close now! Thank you.
