Very, very poor service - wish I could give less than one star. Very long wait on the phone and then you are often are told at the end of this waste of time, that the voicemail is full or they are not taking more calls or that there is a technical difficulty. If this was a private agency, they would be out of business. Huge costly decisions are made against you with no consultation and when you actually get someone on the phone after the very long wait, you get someone who says they know no more than you do or offers to read (word by word) the information posted online that you have already accessed. No explanation or help. Absolutely disgraceful. Embarrassingly this is what our tax dollars fund. Wish I knew how to address it but there is no accessible accountability.
I drove to the agency on Stapon road today. Actually it took several tries to find how to get in as there is no parking for other than employees. Then I saw that they do not accept walk ins and this had been my final hope to get an answer on how to amend my filed return. Well two employees who were just going in to work stopped and asked if they could help me. They were so kind and caring and the one told me how to do it online. Ill always remember the kindness of those employees. One helped me find parking and one helped me to successfully amend my file. Thank you, you know who you are!
Very incompetent. You took over a month to let me know you couldn't send me my tax files over something as trivial as a handwritten signature. Then making me pay postage to wait what will undoubtedly be at least a month again. All this even after CRA told me exactly what I needed to send in.
Did not want to make this phone call, cause I figured it was going to be a taxing experience. Got a man named Richard who sounded tired and over worked, oh joys! After listening to me and telling me I had contacted the wrong department (call center robot didn't even give me the right options), Richard decided to help me figure out what was going on. He was helpful, and I calmed down quickly.
Wish I could give less then a star. It's now mid September 2018 and still havnt received my 2017 income tax return. Keep telling me another 4 weeks. What a joke this government is.
