Endless beautiful and original jewelry (lots of other pretty gifty things too) with little ovely and welcoming staff
I've shopped at this store many times and I just love it. The staff is always warm and friendly. There is a substantial amount of product to choose from. The jewelry is very well organized according to style, so it's easy to find a section you like. They carry such an immense variety of both styles and prices that I've always been able to find exactly what I like. I have bought many gifts and items for myself at Silver Lotus, and I know that I will buy many more in the future!
The items in Silver Lotus are one of a kind. The jewelry is beautiful and affordable. The cards are the best in Winnipeg. I love the clothing too. Even more wonderful is the shoe store. If you are looking for that special gift, save time and go to Silver Lotus.
The clothing and jewelry are amazing. Different, and I love different clothes. Every time I go with my husband on Osborne for dinner, I drop in there and pick up something. Today, I walked in again and found a gorgeous hippie type dress. Now, I am a well dressed, middle aged woman who would scream " big time shopper " when walking in to a store. I had to wait for a fitting room and then when she put the dress in the fitting room, there was a slurpee in the room I almost stepped on.I was never asked once if I needed help or if the dress fit. It did and I bought it. I had to wait to pay and whileI was waiting, my husband overheard the two other girls making fun of a lady trying to return something. I asked about a pendant if they had in sterling rather than in the gold filled and her answer was " I am not sure"..so if not sure..why not take the time to LOOK and be sure because with the 1000's of pieces, I would have likely purchased 3 pieces for gifts. The girls on the Silver Lotus side if they worked for me and I had a private shopper, they would both be FIRED! Not friendly, unhelpful, LAZY. Not the first time. Every time I walk in there, are different young girls who look as if they don't want to be there and as if customers are infringing on their thoughts.I'll return to the store and help myself as I always do but geez...this business could make a LOT of money if you had staff who knew how to sell. I'm 27 yrs in jewel business...give me two weeks there...I'll turn your sales around. Find middle aged, knowledgeable jewel staff. There are many around who wish to work part time who know their stuff.
My original post stated that the staff wasnt very friendly but I went back today and staff were awesome. Arden and, I believe her name was Holly, were so sweet. A much improved experience than the first time we went :)
