Beautiful and conveniently located rail station in the heart of downtown and right next to the Forks.
The station was beautiful but travelling bu VIA Rail was horrendous because CN owns the track and dictates when VIA can use it - we had a 4 hour wait to leave and then a 7.5 hours wait on our way back
Beautiful old building. Well taken care of and maintained. Parking and stopping is difficult. Getting to the facility can be aggravating due to traffic flow and road directions.
Winnipeg Union Station is the most beautiful train station I've never seen in Canada. I particularly liked the beautiful dome and its green ceiling.
Great costumer service. You can get a taxi there through their phones at the main door. It is free and easy to access. Nice architecture. Close to the Museum of Human Rights and the Forks (where you can have a drink or a meal).
