Really nice area biome is excellent, love going walking down the creek.
Love Bruce park been going there since I was a little kid. one of the quietest parks in the city with a nice little Creek that runs right through it! great for just laying in the grass and taking in mother nature's beauty. when in the park you can also enjoy view's of the river and dog walking right through to Assiniboine park. awesome place to go definitely should be checked out.
Lovely little park in St. James. A small creek runs through the centre. It has picnic tables, play structures for kids, a few small bridges, and a war memorial. The park is pretty long and narrow and the paved paths are home to regular runners and cyclists. The main summer months are particularly beautiful when several beds of flowers are planted.
Perfect day to let your dog go swimming in the pool. Thank you Animal Service for this awesome event!!
Bruce Park is a nice walk. It has a parking lot so even some one with limited access can get on the paved trails easily. It is also adjacent to Portage Ave, so bus service is premium. The park is on Truro Creek, and is a ravine, so the trails are steep in places. There is a wading pool in summer (check schedule) and a cenotaph that attracts a large group for Remembrance Day services.
