The caring staff at Cropo served my family with the upmost respect, professionalism and sincere kindness. We felt like we were the only family that mattered to them and they took care of everything. I cannot thank them enough. They made a very difficult time for my family so much more bearable and they helped us celebrate my mom's life as she deserved it to be celebrated.
In a time where i was lost and grieving they helped me out they did a wonderful job on my fathers funeral they made it look like he put it together himself and they answered every question i could have come up with not to mention they let me say goodbye for as long as i needed.when they picked my father up from our house they were kind they let the book i wanted to go with him go and allowed me to watch the process of wrapping and carrying him out as morbid as that is i needed to so i could understand and except his passing and didn't cover his face till i was okay with it which really helped my heart heal i will always use cropo for my family because they know the importance of family and saying goodbye.
Been here for several funerals recently. Staff always very professional and kind. Nice atmosphere as well.
A very special thanks to Karen, Doug, Patrick and the team for the incredible service. This was the best experience I have had in funeral planning. They have simple packaged pricing that is easy to understand with no pressured up-selling. They all displayed deep compassion and help guide us through the process in a very simple and clear way. It was a real pleasure dealing with such a professional organization. Thank-you from the bottom of our hearts. The Denysuik Family.
An unprofessional, disappointing experience made a hard time even more difficult. The positive: the staff were kind and reassuring, their caskets were beautiful, they handled our loved one with care and made her look beautiful. The negative: All other aspects of the funeral were a mess. We were ready to start the service, but they weren't ready to start on time, which we had to go find them to find out. The service was disorganized and confusing, they had technical issues with all aspects from the music in the hall, to the slideshow - which was a cheap projector on a cart in front of the pews that wasn't tested until during the service and couldn't be shown - to the music that was meant to be played at the end of the service. They were so unprepared that the funeral director played the song on her iPhone with the volume turned up as high as possible, pointed at the microphone, while standing at the front of the room. The pallbearers had to literally pull back the coffin and shout for the gentleman's attention so he would stop moving the body before an important song came on. We had asked for something non-religious to be said by the grave site, as our loved one was not just not Christian, but not religious at all, and they proceeded to read a long, very religious passage. It was insulting and disrespectful, and we were absolutely speechless. We planned everything with them well in advance, they had all the songs and photos and details of the timing. The staff continually reassured us that everything would be fine and on the day of the funeral they stood by, looked calm and solemn, and nodded saying "Yes, I'm sorry about that, we know." while literally everything was mishandled. Unbelievable experience.
